A new jersey can’t help a team without the top scorers. M.I.B. are finally really in black, having their black jersey ready in the third game but Jefferson Tong, Adrian Chow, their leaders in points and rebound, both didn’t attend the game.

Matrices defeat Avengers 38-28 in the Final Flag game on September 9 and is still the only team that have won the series which is just three years old.

A second and final game is needed to determine who wins the Southorn Basketball Flag like in the previous two years, as Avengers beat Matrices 41-35 on Sunday. The two teams will re-match on September 9, 17:00 at Sheung Wan Sports Centre.

Trojans become a 3-time champion after beating MA YING 37-33 in the Southorn Basketball League Final 2011.

Green is the theme colour of Southorn Basketball Flag, but no teams in green won yet. Two days finished. Eight teams lost once. One of them is H.F.C. and they were followed by S.B.L. champion Trojans.

Jerry Lee scored 11 of his 24 points in the 4th period and helped Trojans to become SBL champion for a second time.

Photons put up a fight for one period, slowed down the next, and was completely outplayed in the second half. Trojans march to semi-final after the 54-31 victory and will play in a re-match of last year’s semi-final against Dream Team on June 6.
