Echoing the league’s slogan, T-REX and D.S.F. really met the minimum requirement to play a game. Each team got five players for all the 40 minutes of action and Jonathan Poon stand out from all of them to scored 18 points and led T-REX for its third win in four games.

Gilbert Fu, SBL Sports Writer As a reserve, Chung Ming Mok scored a game-high ten points, and as a game late comer, Vincent Siu grabbed a team-high six rebounds, both brought their team tasted the first win in 2008.
Michael Chan scored 12 of his personal best 21 points in the first half and D.S.F. won in the new teams match up in the season debut. Despite another personal best 12 points from Kwan Ho Yu, another former SAMURAI, Chung Sing lost 26-37 and was out-rebounded 14-34.

T-REX had only seven players to start the game, and they finished it with only six. Still, they outlasted the SAMURAI for the team’s second victory and handed SAMURAI a first-time second straight loss by 29-23.

After three season openers which the teams averaged 36.5 points, the final game that feature two new teams on day one had a combined 42 points only.

The next season is about to begin. We are not going to rob a Las Vegas Casino but we do have a big project that need to gather twelve . The league expanded from six teams to twelve teams in two divisions and there are quite a number of player movement too.

After a new team won, the other new team Trojans lost the season opener. SAMURAI started another season with a win, also at Western Park Sports Centre, and beat the Trojans 39:28.
