Despite T-REX’s departure, Jonathan Poon, the rebound leader last year, would not yet leave our league. Teammate Vincent Siu will follow the forward to join MA YING in 2011. Already a contender but fell short in Final last season, the team will again be serious with the addition.

Perhaps the worst performance by SAMURAI in four games this season, still they defeated the opponent after a 31-24 victory over the also-sluggish SPIRIT, which dropped to 0-4 and is on brink of missing the playoffs.

Dream Team defended the championship. Seung Lung Chin added 22 points, Man Chun Chow and Chun Hong Tsoi added 16 and 15 respectively in the SBL Final 2009 to beat M.I.B. 59-45 and become the champion for a second straight time.

Corn Hui and M.I.B. defeat Photons and go to Semi-Final. Corn Hui scored 12 points and Chi Fu Yuen added 10, all five starters scored at least eight points for M.I.B., who took control in the second half and finished the third upset of the second round playoffs.

Roy Kwok and Explorers cannot grab the ball, and the win. M.I.B. beat G.T. Explorers 37-32 in the first round and will face Photons on June 7. The Explorers become the second team with a single victory in season 2009 after the loss.

Wai Keung Lee took a vitory from WIld Beasts M.I.B. won two straight games after a 42-34 win over Wild Beasts, who now fell to 0-3 and tied the worst record of the FLIGHT Division and of the league. Jefferson Tong led all scorers in the game by 11 and added seven boards.
