M.I.B. reached the final stage of the SBL season 2009 but was short to become another new champion of the league. The men in black lost 59-45 on June 28 against the defending champion Dream Team.

While SAMURAI failed to make playoffs, G.T. Explorers and SOUTHORN Tigers stopped in just the first round, M.I.B., who beat the Explorers to start the playoffs, defeated the favoured Photons in the second round and Edged H.F.C. in overtime in Semi-Final. Gilbert, the team manager, and Jefferson are the only team members played on Sunday who was on the team since it’s first day.

While the S.B.L. comes to an end, the second Original Four will be coming soon in October this year.
