G.T. Explorers and M.I.B. each had only five players dressed but they play in different matches. These resulted in two lopsided match-ups on the first day for Original Four series.

Both team started slow but SAMURAI held the Explorers scoreless in the second period and took advantage by the exhausted Explorers for a 37-15 victory on Sunday.

SOUTHORN Tigers topped the 50 point mark just by a final free throw from Ching Yi Mak. The Tigers beat M.I.B. 50-29 and made six three-point shots overall in the victory.
