The five game winning streak finally came to an end. The SOUTHORN Tigers lost 30:37 to the H.F.C. behind Tabo Chak��s double-double. Despite having a team high 5 turnovers, the H.F.C. forward scored 16 points and added 12 rebounds, he was also perfect at the line making all six free throws. H.F.C. teammates Colin Wong and Kiato Fung added 7 points apiece. Alfred Lin scored three points before he got his fifth foul late in the final period. The Tigers still have a little advantage on the board, out rebounded the opponent 31-23 and grabbed 11 offensive rebounds, but they missed nine of the free throw attempts. Tigers guard Benny Wong made his third three-point shot in the second quater to tie the game at 14 but never score again the rest of the game. The 178cm guard has all sixteen field goal attempts of the season from the three point area. Tabo Chak scored 12 of his points in the first half as H.F.C. extended the lead to 8 points at half time. The Tigers looks to able to stop him in the second half, but they looked unable to score at the same time. Both teams scored only 5 points in the third period when H.F.C. shot 2-10, while the Tigers shot 1-9 from the field. The Tigers missed five of eight free throws in that period. Tigers centre Wilson chow made his first field goal in the final period. He made all shots but he missed two of the three free throws. The tigers missed all 7 attempts from the three point range in the final period. Teammate Ken Leung missed all 7 shots from the field, including two three point attempts in the final minute. Both Wilson Chow and Benny Wong scored nine points apiece this night and in the season opener of previous season when the Tigers had a blow-out lost to SAMURAI. The two players lead the team��s scoring in both losses. After a strong performance in previous game, Terence Chan was held to only 5 points on 2-9 shooting. He grabbed 7 rebounds but missed 4 free throws and had 2 turnovers and three fouls. Both Terence Chan and Benny Wong reached the 50 point mark (all-time) while M.I.B. forward Jefferson Tong did it already in previous game. The forward leads the league in career points total at 58.
