2006.11.05 22:10

The Trojans won the second straight game, beat SOUTHORN Tigers by 43:28 behind 18 points from Jerry Lee, the second leading scorer of the league.

SOUTHORN Tigers had only seven players dressed while they still looked competitive at the beggining of the game, before they looked really tired under the man to man defense by the eleven Trojans.

Tigers committed 20 turnovers, twelve of them in the second half. After a 3-point performance, Tigers forward Terence Chan had 8 points and 10 rebounds. Teammate Gary Lai, started in place of Ken Leung, had 6 points and eight boards.

Centre Wilson Chow, who played all the 40 minutes, scored 5 points, all at the line and added seven rebounds and two blocked shots. The Tigers had 22 Free Throw attempts, but made only 12 of them.

Trojans centre Michael Lau had eleven boards, one steal and three blocked shots. Man Wan had eight points, all in the final period with 4-5 shooting. Former Tigers guard Patrick Tse has no assist for the first time since the league was formed.

Another ex-Tiger Will Kam did not start for the first time since the league’s first game.

SOUTHORN Tigers had 30 or more rebounds in all four games played this season.

The pattern continued as M.I.B. and Tigers did not win on the same day.
