Wai Keung Lee took a vitory from WIld Beasts

M.I.B. won two straight games after a 42-34 win over Wild Beasts, who now fell to 0-3 and tied the worst record of the FLIGHT Division and of the league. Jefferson Tong led all scorers in the game by 11 and added seven boards.

Jefferson scored all the team’s first five point in the first period for a 5-4 lead and he followed Chi Fu Yuen’s four point by another basket for a 6-0 run which put M.I.B. up at 11-6. The lead, however, was brief.

Jonathan De Castro scored two and sandwiched by Terry Liu’s four points to pull within 10-11. Just they did not score again the rest of the second period and M.I.B. capitalized by their scoring drought, added 7 more points and brought a 18-10 cushion at the break.

Tim Cheung and Jefferson each had a 3-point play in the period.

Terry scored from deep, at the line and two-point shot which helped Wild Beasts to pull within 20-22. Corn Hui answered by swishing a three-pointer and Tim added two to re-gain a bigger lead at 27-22.

Watson Choi took advantage of turnovers by M.I.B. and also defensive boards by teammates, scored four points and Penny Chan added two as Wild Beasts was just down by two entering the final period. Terry’s three-point shot to open the final periond even cut the deficit to only one. Just that’s the closest they would get the rest of the way.

Chi Fu Yuen completed a three-point play, And Li finish another and he scored the team’s next five points to complete a 11-to-nothing run. M.I.B. went on to win 42-34 and improved to 2-1.

Andy Li was late to game. M.I.B. had only six players when tip-off.

There is no single player came to the game with a basketball ball until one Wild Beasts player had one when he arrived the court only two minutes before tip-off.
