The next Southorn Basketball League will start in 2013 January. It is going to open for application in November, while all current teams taking part is now under the “early bird” stage which will end at the end of this month.

All settings remain pretty much the same as previous season:

1. Fee & Number of Teams and Games

• The fee for each team is $5500;
• A maximum of fourteen (14) teams will be divided into two divisions;
• Each team will play at least six (6) games, teams advanced into play-offs will play at least one (1) more game;
• All games will be officiated by referees from Hong Kong Basketball Association, unless specified.

2. Schedule, Time and Venues

• All games will be played either in the afternoon or in the evening, on Sundays;
• Games will be held in indoor basketball courts on Hong Kong Island, mainly at Central & Western District;
• View tentative game dates here;
• Tentative date, time and site may change due availability of basketball courts and will be specified;
• Should any team are not available on a particular of the tentative game dates, the League, although not guaranteed, may arrange not to assign games on that date with advance notice.
