Trojans forward Edward Wong scored seven points, all in the first period, as the team took a 10:8 lead. He added five rebounds but shoot only 3-14 for the night and had 4 turnovers. After Trojans guard-forward Man Wan scored two points, M.I.B. guard Leo Chow made a three-point shot to cut the lead to one but missed the next. Jefferson Tong made a basket and take a lead at 13″12. Trojans centre Will Kam made a basket to take the lead back, but the team did not score again in the period. Trojans made only two field goals in the second period. With the help of other teammates and turnovers from Trojans, M.I.B. outsocred the opponent 10:4 and took a lead four point lead at half time. Ben Cheng made one of two free throws before at the end of second period and it was 18:14. Leo Chow looked unstoppable in the second half, the M.I.B. guard made another trey to start scoring for his team in the second half. He made his third one in the same period and scored 8 points in the period by another fast-break layup. The Trojans stayed close behind Jerry Lee��s 8 eight points in the same period as the team was down by 5 entering the final period. The Trojans guard scored a team-high 13 points off the bench. He also added 3 rebounds, 2 assists and three steals but committed five turnovers. The Trojans were able to grab many offensive boards, but they rarely convert them as 2nd chance points. Michael Lau made one of two free throws as the final period started and reduce the deflicit to four. The trojans forward made a shot and another free throw and scored all his 4 points in the final period but after the 4th trey by Leo Chow and a shot by Ben Cheng, M.I.B. lead 37:29 with less than a minute left. Jerry Lee hit a three point shot as the team lost 32:37 and become the other team with the G.T. Explorers that has not win a game yet this season. The win by M.I.B., together with the loss by the Tigers resulted in a pattern that both teams will not win on the same day. M.I.B. won the on June 25 when the Tigers lost to SAMURAI. The Tigers and M.I.B. were then each followed by a five-game, cross-season streak of winning and losing respectively.
