Two foul-outs and one injuries left only four explorers down the stretch

Dream Team outscored G.T. Explorers 18-9 in teh second half to win their 4th game entering playoffs. Despite a loss, G.T. Explorers clinched already a 6th place which will not be affected by the final scores of the evening.

The single victory in five games does not mean G.T. Explorers could not fight.

At least for a half.

Roy Kwok scored two and Kim Chou made a shot from deep to open the game with five points before Dream Team could answered three.

Kit Cheng, despite missing the and-1 for a three-point play, made his first two attempts from the floor and only missing the next. G.T. Explorers took a 9-7 lead at the end of the first period.

Man Chun Chow’s three-pointer tied the game at 11-all, but Kit continued his hot streak and scored four straight team points to put it back to a four-point lead.

Ho Yin Tai swished two foul shots to tied the game at 15-all, just before Roy Kwok finished the first half with a three-point shots. G.T. Explorers led 18-15 at the intermission.

Kit split a pair of free throws before Seung Lung Chin made a three-point shot that gave the defending champion the first lead. And they never trail again. He added two more points at the line for a 22-18 lead.

Barton Lai swished a jumper to cut the deficit to two. Chun Hong Tsoi scored four points including a trey to end the third period with a 26-21 lead.

Roy Kyaw, played his debut for the Explorers, injured and left the game in second half. Kit and Barton both fouled out in the final period, left the team with only four players for the last couple minutes of the game. Roy had four fouls before he left for good.

Kit made 6-for-7 from the floor but was 1-for-3 at the line.

Seung Lung Chin, Man Chun Chow, Chun Hong Tsoi eached scored eight points for Dream Team. The seven players combined for only six fouls, in contrast to 18 from seven Explorers.
