Former T-REX Chung Ming Mok led all scorers of the night with 22 points and Ma Ying for a 50-36 league debut victory. Danny Ho added 12 points and six rebounds, Otto Chan collected a game-high 10 rebounds and added eight points for the new team this season.

With some starting players went to the bench, Chung Sing would only see a 9-0 run by Ma Ying, who close the first 10 minutes at 19-10.

Ma Ying’s nine point advantage was frozen for possessions when both teams have numerous turnovers, and both teams went into scoring drought until Mok made another layup for a 25-14 lead. He scored the team’s final five points of the half and brought his team a 32-18 cushion into half-time.

Four points by Sin and Chi Shing Yip helped Chung Sing to pull within 10 points as the second half begin, but that was the closest they could reach. Elvin Tam split a pair of free throw when Chung Sing was down 30-41, but Danny’s two foul shots and Mok scored his 20th points for a 15-point lead entering the final stanza.

Dickson Chau scored 7 of his team-high eleven points in the second half of his SBL debut.

Ma Ying was 9 for 17 at the line while Elvin was the only player who get to the line, and for only once, for Chung Sing.
