Final Changes

2015.03.31 15:48

One more day, two more games. The four teams playing on the next game day will finalize the standing to enter playoffs this season.

A 14-0 first period run by Fluke (4-2) helped them to overcome a late rally by H.F.C. (4-2) and the victory helped the team in orange took over HFC as the second best team in the division. The up-coming result of GRIZZ (3-2) against Photons (5-0) would change nothing unless they forfeit this game, since GRI beat Millennium (3-3) in a one-point victory for the tie-breaker even a loss to PHO would not put GRI below 4th. But they lost all tie-breakers against FLK and HFC even if GRI can make it a three-way tie as the third 4-2 team, so they won’t be higher than 4th either. The FORCE Division standings is going to be:

  1. PHO (5-0)
  2. FLK (4-2)
  3. HFC (4-2)
  4. GRI (3-2) or MLN {if GRI lost by forfiet}
  5. MLN (3-3) or GRI
  6. OMG (1-5)
  7. RYD (0-6)

As Chung Sing (4-2) destroyed the continue-to-be-depleted SOUTHORN Tigers (1-5) as expected and it was followed by a victory of NEW EMPEROR (2-4), SOU confirmed as the last ranked team and CHU will be second if Train (4-1) loss next game (CHU beat TRN in their match-up this season). NEP has won its second game with just about one point less (See table below) which they still ranked last in the 3-way tie with The Expendables X (2-4) and SAMURAI (2-4). TRN could still be the top team in the division if they beat EMPEROR (5-0) because it means both tying the final division record and winning the tie-breaker. Therefore:

  1. EMP (5-0) or TRN {5-1}
  2. CHU (4-2) or EMP {5-1}
  3. TRN (4-1) or CHU {4-2}
  4. SAM (2-4)
  5. XPX (2-4)
  6. NEP (2-4)
  7. SOU (1-5)
