The second day of Southorn Basketball League finished on Sunday at Shek Tong Tsui Sports Centre.

1. Photons 31, Ryders 21

Photons (1-0) appeared in their first game and handled Ryders (0-2) in a 31-21 outings for a victory to start this season. Li Man Pan scored a team-high 11 points and Harris Wong and Henry Hon each added six.

2. Dream Team 36, SAMURAI 37

Dickson Chau scored 11 points for SAMURAI (1-0), which came off a winless SBL2011 and overcame a 7-point, final-period deficit to beat Dream Team (1-1) by one on Sunday. Chow Man Chun, who averaged double figures in the each of the first three years since joining the league and scored over seven points per game last year, made only his first field goal this year and averaged was 1-for-9 in two games.

3. H.F.C. 42, Spartans 34

Nikko Kwok improved to a league-leading 13.5 point per game after his 13-point outing against Spartans (1-1) and helped H.F.C. (1-1) to win its first game of the season. Tabo Chak made eight free throws for ten points and Alfred Lin added a personal record nine points. Chan Tik Kei have another 10-point effort in the loss.

4. GRIZZ 36, Chung Sing 38

Division-leading Chung Sing (2-0) concluded the second game day by a second straight victory. Sin Lok Ming was the only player in double-digit scoring and seven players from both teams scored five or more points. Mok Wai Yip recorded eight points and a stunning eight steals. Yuen Chun Yin had three assists and a team-high nine points for GRIZZ (0-2) has dropped two in a row.
